Having to spend each day the color of the leaves...
Maybe Kermit should come to Massachusetts. Not much green to be had here at the moment. The grass that is resurfacing is very very brown, as are the leaves that did survive the winter.
But...I have hope. The chlorophyl is (hopefully) reawakening. Soon, the trees will be filled with green leaves and the grass will be lush and less, um...muddy.
So Kermit, we've had enough white, brown, gray, and more white. It's time for some green around here!

Yep - bring on the green. I will admit, with all the snow this year, we have been spared from a perpetual sea of brown. Green is still much anticipated and welcomed.
Bring it on, Kermit!! We're more than ready :)
I tell you - I've got my eyes and lens hunting any little sign! There are buds...but there are also still way more of last fall's leaves than any green ones - that's for sure!
Isn't it amazing that things so fragile like leaves can survive such harshness. Sure they change texture but we still recognize them as leaves. Sort of like a metaphor for life and how we grow as people. Enjoy your day Tamar.
This is hilarious! I hope you do see more green in Boston soon. You will certainly appreciate it!
Hoping you get some green your way real soon.. Your Brown leaf looks pretty, But I totally get that it is much prettier when its green..
Mother Nature needs to get off the pot and get at it! :). We don't want those Red Sox having to play in Fenway with boots on. Thanks for joining in at Song-ography!
As we say in the south, bless your heart! You definitely need some rising sap, and greening around there. Hopefully spring will be on the way to you soon! Meanwhile, wear your green tomorrow!
lot's of surviving leaves in your neck of the woods, i am really ready for spring!!
and i don't even want to talk about mud, it's like a whole 'nother season around here!!
Green will come!! But until it will arrive I recommend visits to the flower shop! Big bunches of tulips will surely help to lift your spirit!
LOL! I can sure relate to this. There's not much green here in Ohio, either. There will surely be many excited folks when this spring finally arrives. T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
I'm so ready for more green! We got more snow last night but hopefully it will melt soon!
Sending "Green Vibes" your way. The sun is out again today so I'm off for a walk.
I love Kermit. good luck getting some color back!
Lovely light in this shot!
I wish I didn't have trees that hold their leaves all winter. I see them out my window and can hardly wait for the day I see them begin to fall knowing the new buds are pushing them away. :)
I think you must have gotten most of our snow this winter! We have hardly had any- not that it hasn't been cold!
Things are starting to green up around here, so here's hoping it starts to move your way too!
