Song-ography: Happy

It might seem crazy what I'm about to say. Sunshine she's here, you can take a break.
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof...

Because I'm happy!

Spring began to appear this week. Short sleeves were worn. Some extra time spent outside.

I smiled from ear to ear one afternoon on the drive home: sunglasses on, heat off, coat unzipped.

As I watched my kiddos spend some time on the playground I couldn't help but smile. They were happy, I was happy. Nothing like some time on the swings and game of tag with 9 year olds to remind you to just throw caution to the wind and just be happy!

Can't nothing bring me down...happy!

Who has not saddled up to a swing, kicked back with all your force to see how high you can fly and forfeit all your worries to the wide open sky. Talk about a room without a roof. Oh yea, I remember.

Good day Tamar, yes children are supposed to be happy. The work of a child is to play and grow. Swinging is the greatest.

Oh my gosh...this brings back such happy memories of all the time, and all the games we would use our swing set for. Makes me smile for sure :). Thanks for joining in at Song-ography.

When Hubby and I went out this week we noticed the kids outside playing on the local school playground. It was the first day in quite a long time we had seen them out so when I saw this I had to smile.
Wonderful interpretation of that line of the song.
