The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 14

The Good:
I went to a Rick Recht concert (Jewish musician) on Sunday. It was beyond awesome to run into two friends I've known for years from a Jewish Ed conference I used to go to with my mom. We hadn't seen each other in years and it was beyond great to bump into each other and get to catch up! The concert was super fun too.

The Random:
I was marking Monday night's homework when I got to this paper. I asked the owner of the worksheet what happened to it. Her response, "my little brother took a bite out of it because he wanted dinner." My first "my brother ate my homework" - at least she turned it in, though!

The Fun:
Ok. I got hooked. Totally hooked on 2048. I downloaded the app and have spent a bit too much time trying to get to the 2048 tile. No dice...yet...
**I take no responsibility for any lost productivity you may experience after trying this game...

And a huge congrats to Kim Stevens for winning the book giveaway! Enjoy the book!

Cool week- lots of fun you have been having. I will have to check out that app - I have a number lover here that might be really interested in that.

Cracking up at the eaten homework. I guess they didn't have a dog. LOL. Now, I have to try that app. Or maybe get my kids on it since it seems to promote math skills!

Blogging is my good random fun. Or perhaps napping? It's a toss up. lol

Hey, those men are great lookers. Any dates in your future? Looked like you were doing well with the selfies at least.

I know that "My dog ate my homework" thing all too well, because our dog when he was still in the puppyish stage did eat the homework right off the refrigerator!! haha

And, my hubby downloaded that app on Friday, and by Sunday he managed to get to 2048...you would have thought his phone was super glued to his hands, lol.

Fun times meeting up with old friends! That is funny about the homework paper. I will pretend I never heard of 2048 (I never had until now). :)

I spend a bit too much time with new apps too!

How ironic...I JUST this morning found 2048 downloaded onto my IPhone and had NO IDEA what it was! Seems Thing #3's phone and my phone somehow "share" app downloads from Itunes. Was going to delete it...but now I"m going to have to take a closer look first.

How cool to find some old friends at a concert. They look like a lot of fun. Too cute about the math sheet. You should see some of the swim slips I get from kids as a timer at HS swim meets. They only have them for a short time before they turn them in and oh my! Some end up in awful shape.

In love with the homework story. And will let you know next week whether you completely undermined my productivity with the introduction of that app....
