Back to School!

And we're off!! I cannot believe it, but school is here, a day under our belts and so far so good!

I have to say, I am in love with how my room turned out! So here's the free tour!
Welcome to 3rd Grade General Studies! On the inside of the door, I hung my my job charts.
I'm obbsessed with the amount of built in storage in this room! Those cabinets are extra books and texts and supplies and a perfect place for anchor charts.
The library, all organized and ready for readers. I have one old style black board, but it makes a perfect magnetic math word wall!
The view from the back of the room. I was quite happy with how the desk pods worked out - 21 desks is a lot to fit into the room in a decent way!
 First day's Morning Message!
The huge white board, the letters on the left are for our spelling and phonics program, tons of math items below, and the supply cabinet to the left (and my desk).
My voice volume system, our visual reminder to use our thinking bubble, and the schedule (everything is on there twice, since I teach 2 sections, so I do everything twice, the kids have general studies and Judaic studies each day).
And there she is in all her glory!
It's going to be a great year!!

Little by Little

Looks amazing! So much work to get ready. Two sections - so you teach two groups of twenty? Or within the 21 there are two sections?

Love it - it looks like a great environment for the kids to learn and grow.

Love it so much, I would have paid for that 'free' tour! Your room looks spacious and like a lot of fun for you and the kids. I think that voice volume system is genius! I can't tell if you're wearing a skirt or a dress but it looks really nice!! Back to school is so exciting!

Your room looks so spacious! I'm looking forward to following along this year. I, too, am curious about the two sections and how that works.

Now that is a beautiful room. Makes me think going back to school wouldn't be so bad after all! :) I would be right there with you on the storage obsession. Made my heart happy to see

Wow, Tamar! This school room is big and has a much more affluent backing to it than the past year's school. Glad you got this job so fast and soon and well and all that!

Oh, the scans were just to help them know where to map out my therapy. I start on Monday the 15th and it shouldn't make me one bit sick or tired. It is a new machine and it is precise. The other previous machines were NOT precise and that is why others would get tired or sick. Yay for NEW TECHNOLOGY!!!!

Have a nice weekend (noticed no usual Friday post, hope you are ok) ♥, Renae
