The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 52

Wow! Today marks a whole year of link ups here. Thank you, thank you to everyone who has linked up in 2014. I am so happy to host each week and love seeing what's going on in your neck of the woods. Here's to another Good. Random. Fun. year ahead in 2015!

The Good:
Vacation has been super good so far. Some snippets: more movies and episodes of Dr. Who than I care to admit, reading, sushi, shopping, massage, facetime with Noam, some puzzling, time downtown, and report cards. Wait...those aren't fun...

The Random:
I've never had such waxy candles. I loved watching the wax build up each night of Chanukah, but it sure was a bugger to get off afterwards...

The Fun:
I got to see some old college friends last night. Super great to catch up!

Here is the linky!! I forgot the code, oops!!

The melted wax is very artistic (blow-dryer and paper towels ... just saying!) It sounds like a grand holiday despite the grade-cards (at least you are doing the grading and not on the receiving end - ugh!).

Happy New Years!

(No link-up this week? )

Hi there...glad you enjoyed your friends, and that mess with the candles must have been awful to clean up. I came to link up, but didn't find the link.

wax can be tricky to clean up. I accidentally dropped a candle with melted wax on our new carpet and I'm having a heck of a time getting it out.

Happy New Year!

For the first time I put my menorah in boiling water to clean the wax off. I was a little scared it would somehow harm the menorah itself, but it looks be be unscared, and there's less wax on it than ever before!

It's always fun when you can hook up with college friends. Love the wax picture although I can imagine it will be a pain to clean up. Might have to melt it off. Have a great New Year!
