Scav Hunt Sunday: Markers and Pearls

J is for:
J is for jewelry - had to pop into Tiffany's to get a chain untangled and cleaned.

Kindness:
The teacher I replaced did my supply order. She ordered a few sets of Mr. Sketch markers. Not much kinder than that - these are a teacher's best friend for chart making! (plus it was an excuse to share this shot, since I'm a bit obsessed with it!)

Three:
My grade's phonics program stresses homophones. I had a good chuckle while teaching the three versions of by/buy/bye - I had N*Sync's "Bye Bye Bye" stuck in my head all day!

To do:
We start our next social studies unit next week, lots to do to make sure I'm all set!

Shoes:
Winter. Boston. Need I say more?

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!

Your last comment/photo is funny. SO glad the kids are learning about homophones - nothing makes me crazier that adults misusing them.

Those boots are wicked nice looking for winter in Boston...they must be pretty new. I'm sure they won't look so pretty come March!

Great set. I'd say that teacher was very kind. I've never entered a position where I had the teacher actually order supplies for me. Make it difficult.

Great group; love the composition on your markers, and thank you (bye bye bye); hard to believe Allyson will be returning to Boston / Wellesley for her final semester. This is really tugging my heart. Funny enough, she took to the crazy winters of Boston / MA like a duck to water.

Oh I love them all - Tiffany's.....my favorite. Love the boots & dry erase markers, well - we go through our fair share of dry erase markers here when we are working on math. We have 3 white boards that sure get a workout.

I have not heard of those markers before...good for marking swimmers arms too I suppose:).

Like your boots shot and I have noticed people mis using there/their/they're and your/you're.

Now you can teach your kids about earthworms too :)
