Enter Spring...

When the first day of spring arrives along with 2 inches of snow, one has two options.
One can sit at home and long for spring to arrive. Or, one can drive to the mountain and take advantage of amazing ski conditions.
I chose the latter!
Another amazing day on the slopes. Most people are apparently over winter, because there was barely any wait for the lift, and the slopes were pretty much empty.

If I'm going to live through the snowiest and coldest winter on record in Boston, I might as well enjoy myself, and enjoy myself I am!

I don't think I'll ever down hill ski again (though I never thought I'd be hiking up rocks either...) This winter did make me consider trying cross country skiing next year..."my" pond seems to be made for it!

The snow pictures are wonderful - from afar. We live in Oregon and have escaped the snow but my husband and I are both from out east so seeing snow is great. We just don't want to be there. My husbands favorite quote is "we don't have to shovel rain." and I add an amen !!!! Keep up the great work !!!

So glad you have a way to enjoy the last bits of winter, rather than lamenting the late arrival of Spring.

I think it's great that you have made the most of it. It won't be long before it's all gone & we are all sweating!! :)

Good For You for having fun in all that white stuff. You look happy. I liked that 3rd shot down of the skiers on the hill.

Good choice eh! Sometimes the best thing to do it is to enjoy it while it last :)

I love being up in the mountains! Although I'm definitely a skier over a snowboarder. But it's been years since I've gone and really miss it.
