Song-osity: 100 days

How everything still turns to gold...
And if you listen very hard...
The tune will come to you at last...
When all are one and one is all...
To be a rock and not to roll...

Friday marked 100 days since Thanksgiving.
It marked 100 days since Avi and I once again embarked on a 100 Happy Day Challenge.
It marked 103 days since mom's heart surgery.

This time, the 100 days flew by. Well. In a way they did. As in "wow, it's been 3 months since the surgery already?" and in some ways the stressful events of late November truly seem like they were eons ago.

But here I am 100ish days later. And, so happy to be able to say that mom is doing so well, her meds are being tapered, she feels great, things look promising!

This 100 days saw me through a busy December, a vacation at the lake, more snow than I've ever seen before, tons of amazing teaching moments, adventures, time with the nephews, and random life moments. Again, it was a great way to focus on the good, even on the hard days there was something worth smiling about.

Where will the next 100 days take me? While not doing another formal challenge, I do hope to find the happiness in each and every day, even if I need to listen very hard.

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!

A little Zepplin to start my day(well I've been up for hours but just checking my feed now!). :)
I'm so glad your mom is doing so well. I think the 100 happy days project makes the time go by quicker and it's so nice to look back. I know it helped me pass the time until we went to Paris!!

You found it for sure and I loved experiencing your 100 days little by little and also seeing them all together. I have contemplated doing this after seeing you express gratitude for all the little happy things. It is such a great exercise of seeing the good each day.

It's sure been a full 100 days. Hard to believe - 100 days seems like a lot. Amazing how much we can cram into that time frame.

So glad to hear your mom is doing well. Sometimes it amazes me how quickly time flies by. And sometimes we need to take a moment to look back and appreciate how golden so much of it is. Thank you for linking up to Song-ography.
