Song-osity: Viva Las Vegas!

Viva Las Vegas!
Viva, viva, Las Vegas!

What an amazing 27 hours in Las Vegas! I flew out for the extremely momentous occasion of Gabriel becoming a bar mitzvah. It is still insane to realize he is now 13 and has reached this milestone. He was a little toddler I was chasing around while babysitting just yesterday...

Wednesday night, the party got started with a dinner and song-session. The song-sesson turned into a surprise Maccabeats concert!! Gabe was shocked and it was SO much fun to rock out to their music while honoring Gabriel and this amazing occasion.

Thursday, we watched as Gabriel put his tefillin, lead the morning service, and read from the torah for the first time. Watching this amazing kiddo reach this milestone, literally had me with tears in my eyes.

After the pomp and circumstance we enjoyed food off the family's food trucks, then I hung out with them at their house until it was time to head back east.

A short, whirlwind trip to Las Vegas, but I cherished every moment with my H6 and loved getting to see mom for a short bit, too!

Gabriel, mazal tov!! I am beyond blessed to know you and couldn't have been prouder of you on this amazing day!!

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!

What a fun surprise that the Maccabeats were there! And I have to say every time lately I look at bar or bat mitzvah photos I keep thinking how in less than 13 years I'll have a bat mitzvah to plan! It seems so far away now, but I know it will be here before I know it!
