Hamilton Falls

The area of Vermont I was in was right outside of the Green Mountains, which means tons of hiking opportunities.
I got a huge kick out of the hike being in Jamaica. Maybe we went farther away than I thought...

The hike was along the West River to a nice steep climb to the top of Hamilton Falls. The hike was great, it poured rain the first 1.5ish miles, but it felt so nice after a warm few days and we soldiered on.
Once at the top, the views were amazing. There are these massive rock formations and the water is pouring through them, into a small pool, then continuing down the falls.
After sitting and relaxing some at the top of the rocks, we went to the bottom of the falls to enjoy the water and view looking up.
I just love when rocks, water, and trees come together, so this hike had a nice bit of everything. All in all, it was a great day hike.

Love it! I love the Green Mts. We've hiked there often but never this hike. Thanks for sharing!
