Song-osity: Head of the Charles.

Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream...
Merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.

The Head of the Charles Regatta was this weekend down on the Charles River. It coincided perfectly with a weekend of gorgeous fall weather. All this made for the perfect afternoon, hanging down along the water, watching the boats go by. It really is amazing how much precision and teamwork goes into the sport!

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!

Fall in Boston is lovely! You are very lucky, but will pass on the winters and the traffic!

Venturing to the Schuylkill here in Philly, Boathouse Row, and watching the skulling is one of my favorite things to photograph. Especially in the FALL! Gorgeous shots. Thanks for sharing at Song-ography.

Great pics. The funny thing is that I was just reading about it this morning.

We've watched regattas along the Schuylkill River. It is always an interesting time.

Gorgeous day. My high school had a crew team-interesting sport to watch.

Thank you for your condolences on my kitty.

Wonderful, clear shots of the regatta! Have you read The Boys in the Boat? You would love it -- the true account of the Olympic rowers from the 1930s. It's a gripping story and well written.
