Seaglass Carousel

I'd like to be, under the sea...
In an octopus' garden in the shade...

{Octopus's Garden -- The Beatles}

When mom and I were down in Battery Park we stumbled upon the most amazing carousel.

The Seaglass Carousel is in a little pavilion along the water front and is a seriously amazing mix of fish on turn tables. They rose and spun as lights changed and music played.

Mom and I are both serious carousel fans (our boardwalk routes) and we so enjoyed the ride!

It was the perfect way to end the day in the city!

Tamar, I'm also a carousel fan, we have so many in this area that date to the late 1800s. Now I must say that fish is something new to me. Thanks for your visit and I hope to see you back again.

The fish shapes are so pretty! I would like to live there to.

I actually did a big painting of an octopus living in a garden under the sea. The garden is a bunch of cacti. The octopus has on a sombrero. My boys are getting Yellow Submarine bedding for Christmas from us.
