Got blizzard? Then got chowder! I whipped up a pot of Tilapia Corn Chowder last week when it snowed. So good.
Precious:
I love my lighting shabbas candles each week with my grandparent's wedding photo behind my candle sticks, which also rest on my bubbe's milk glass tray.
Solitude:
I love being alone on the top of the mountain. Just me. The snow. The view. Perfect way to clear my head!
Misty:
A misty morning and bare branches make for a gorgoeus scene.
Dessert:
The snow day made me do it....? Tried a new baking mix one snowy day. Something about a blizzard that makes one need to bake!

I've never had chowder but it always looks so hearty and delicious!
Of course the snow day made you do it :)

Snow days make me bake and cook too! I love the Shabbat candles w/ your grandparents' photo and the milk glass tray. Such sweet mementos to go with your tradition. All the food looks yummy!
