The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 7

The Good:
I treated myself to a Broadway in Boston subscription (mainly so I have a chance at finally seeing Hamilton next year...). My first show was Cabaret, on Thursday night. No blizzard keeps me from the theater! It was really fun to trek downtown and seeing it so snowy. Amanda and I met up for sushi before the show and it was so empty in the theater that they let everyone move up...so we ended up front row balcony! The show was amazing. Pretty poignant considering these political times.

The Random:
If you don't like the weather....wait a few hours. We went from 30s and snowing Tuesday...to 49 and gorgeous Wednesday...to a blizzard Wednesday....to frigid temps and wind chills on Friday!

The Fun:
I finally got my big snow storm and snow day, just about when I had all but given up hope on a snowy winter in Boston. Thursday we ended up with a blizzard! Brookline got over a foot and it was fun to just be at home and enjoy it all. Friday we had another snow day (more of a freezing cold/solid ice day)...welcome back winter!

mmm that sushi looks really good. The weather is crazy!! I can't even keep up. Here in Nahant the storm tides have been pretty intense! I am looking forward to some snow shoeing if it ever stops blizzarding long enough to get out there.

The weather is really weird, not quite as extreme, but same here. Good for you that you are making the best of it and not letting you keep from the theater (and sushi :)).

Very happy for you that you got your snow day! Our weather is crazy too, that's why making a temperature blanket is so fun for me! It was 72 here on Saturday and today it was 32 at least first thing in the morning!

We got a snow day too but it's all gone now! You guys are really getting socked. Going to the theater on a snowy night (and sushi first) sounds amazing!

I saw Cabearet in the Denver Performing Arts theater last year. So true that its theme is timely!

You had a blizzard, we had record breaking heat in Denver--it was 80 degrees one day last week! A very strange winter for us.

The weather is so boring here about 80 each day!

Our weather has been all wonky down here too. We've been running the ac for about a week & then this morning...its cold. Love the captures you've shared...and that little squirrel in the snow....awesome! Have a great week!

Great photos, and I love the shoe shot, lol! Have been watching your weather and didn't see it got that warm, crazy and familiar but you have gotten the worst of it while we in WI just keep getting warmer. Good for you acting like a mailman and going on out no matter the weather. That's one way to get great seats.

Sheesh, instead of happy Valentine's maybe I should wish for you warmer weather! But still, hope you're getting some chocolates:)

We have the most bipolar weather. Friday's high was in the mid 50s. That night got down to 34. Saturday was a bright, sunny 75 degrees. So we had Spring, then Winter, and Summer all within 36 hours. Lol!! Your pictures look great and kudos to getting the great seats for the show!

I love the theatre but it is just so damn expensive in London that is not something one can do often

We don't get a lot of the Broadway musicals here, but when they do come, I try to make a point to catch the shows. I love musicals! (Still keeping my fingers crossed that Hamilton will make its way here.)
