The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 17

The Good:
I had my latest show in my Broadway in Boston show. I had never seen the King and I on the stage and it did not disappoint! What a magical performance with an amazing cast.

The Random:
I saw these funny spheres on my run Wednesday in the financial district. No idea where they came from or what they are for - but so funky.

The Fun:
I marked the end of Passover and the start of my next round of race training with a nice run to Kane's for a gluten-free donut. Five miles there (accidentally took the long way - darn you Boston street grid...). But that blueberry donut was AMAZING - so worth it and a great run.

...man, has the 'King and I' been around for a while or what. I like the windshield whippers. Oh yes, donuts are a health food, two of the major food groups, fats and sugar!

That donut looks amazing. Those spheres are cool. The King and I was just in Philly and people were raving about it!

I spy Stumptown coffee in the window! I recently had my first donut after 40+ days of not having any during Lent. It's amazing how enjoyable something is after a long fast without it.

Ok..funny story about the King and I. I was pretty young, but my family went to see it when Yule Brenner was still in the cast. Apparently, though, I fell asleep and slept through the majority of it.

Cool spheres! It's probably some sort of art installation. I love those things! I wish I could run 5 miles like that!

Glad you are running again--make sure to stay hydrated!

You definitely had some fun. I have never seen the King & I as a musical per say. Loved the film of it though.

I was thinking about the movie 'King and I' today! It would be fantastic to see show on Broadway. Spheres are cool and donut after run is just what we deserve for. Nice choices for today. Thank you for hosting.

Is that really a car? The sphere with the 3.14 circumference notated on the front. Too cute!

Oh my! I saw The King and I when I was a little girl! I believe it was before it came to Broadway; they tried it out it a smaller city first and we went to see it because my aunt was in it! She was a singer and played an amazon! We kids enjoyed it and came back to the hotel and practiced down-on-your-knees bowing! And that's about all I remember about it, except that we got the album and I learned all the songs.

I love the King and I it is one of my favourite musicals. When I was a child my Mum took me to see it in London and Yul Brenner was playing the King

I haven't watched the King and I! I love Broadway as well and I've been eyeing some new performances.
