Movin' to the country,
Gonna eat me a lot of peaches...

{Peaches - The Presidents of the USA}

To wrap up summer, Shifra, Ellie and I went out to pick some berries and peaches.

I had heard tons of amazing things about Tougas Family Farm and it did not disappoint! A lovely little farm about an hour out of the city, friendly staff, gorgeous property, and amazing produce.

We strolled the rows of blueberries, blackberries, and the grove of peach trees.

The weather has been so amazing this summer that there was so much fruit, even at the very end of summer. The peaches were so aromatic you could smell them as you walked down the rows! We left with full baskets!

That's always a fun summer outing. We sing that song all of the time!

There is just nothing like the colors of fruits. Those blueberries look like velvet.

Wow, we are way past that season. I guess my berries are coming from the north now!

Picking fruits is definitely one of the many things we look forward to whenever we go back to Canada in the summer.

Didn't know peaches grew in Massachutes; however, I also didn't know that my state of Georgia produces more blueberries than peaches. We love picking our own fruit!
