One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is all the pretty lights.

I have fond memories of the gorgoeus lights in my neighborhood as a child. City living makes lights harder to come by though. 

So a favorite Boston winter tradition of mine is to walk around Boston Common taking in the gorgoeus lights. 

The city's Christmas tree stands tall and is surrounded by so many trees draped with pretty lights. 

I am a strong advocate of pretty lights all winter long. But until that becomes a thing I will savor the magical night I had on the Common with these lights.
