Whose Woods

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
{Stopping By Woods On a Snowy Evening -- Robert Frost}

Sooo it won't stop snowing...we've had a storm every week since the start of March.
I mean, it's pretty...but it's starting to get old!
Snow days once a week.
Cramped running style.
But...
It sure is pretty whilst it falls!

I love that poem. I had to memorize it in 5th grade and still know a little of it! I also sent it in with Simon for his nature poem project this year!

It is pretty but I'm not looking forward to more. I thought I had enough winter snow photos but apparently Mother Natures thinks not!

This is so crazy!! What in the world! We are supposed to get a bit of it tonight (nothing like THIS), but it makes me laugh because I'm speaking at a women's event that was postponed from January because of snow. And the ONE night of the reschedule...it's supposed to snow. Go figure!

I love your snowy pics, because we don't have snow, but I can understand that you have had enough of it. Have a fabulous week!

Lovely! We got snow this weekend and yesterday here in Germany, but it is almost all melted now. Hoping that is the last of it as I am so ready for spring. Wishing you a fantastic week.

I know what you mean about it getting old... in fact it's snowing right now. But oh, it is soo soo pretty especially for me who had been deprived for so many years.

Wow! The weather all over is so weird. My son in California is having torential rains! But you sure make this an inviting scene to walk through. Hope spring comes soon.

Great illustrations for Frost's poem.

The silent woods create a silent scene in the silent snow!

I hope running in snow is like running in sand. Nice pretty shots but no thanks, I hope you get a real spring soon.
