The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 28

The Good:
Not too much excitement last week while I recovered...but I did get a perfect avocado...it's the little things.

The Random:
My grad school was recently absorbed by Boston Unversity. So now all my alumni things come from B.U. it's going to take some adjusting!

The Fun:
I got the all clear to resume all activities and instantly laced back up. Love the treadmill classes Heartbreak offers and had an easy 2.5ish miles Friday. I then spent the next day a lump on the couch...but baby steps?

Three cheers for a perfect avocado. That is always a fun find! Great job getting back out there with the running, even if you start with baby steps! You're my hero!

Love it when I get a perfect avocado. It's such a hit or miss affair. I heard that the way to pick a good one to make sure the stem is intact.

Glad you're doing better. My avocados will not ripen! It's very frustrating!

Lovely photos Tamar. I went off avocados as I did get a couple of bad ones. These have made me want to buy some more, they look yummy :)

Glad your recovery went well and you're cleared to be back in action. Love avocados and finding a perfect one is key. Fun fact-- my grandfather on my dad's side was an avocado farmer so they have always been a big part of my life.

Not sure what constitutes a perfect avocado, but it sure was a pretty looking one (from the viewpoint of someone who doesn't really care for avocados). And you are right - it is the little things!
