Today we celebrate good triumphing over evil.
Queen Esther speaking up to King Achashverosh and foiling wicked Haman's plan to destroy the Jews.
We stamp out his name as the Book of Esther is read.
This year, in light of hate around the world, this holiday seems more powerful.
We must continue to rise up against those who try to destroy us, we must not let hate win.
For there is great light and gladness!

Happy Purim; I have never heard of this holiday but it sounds like a wonderful thing to celebrate.
What a beautiful holiday! And it is my son’s birthday today, too!
