They have been repressed. Ignored. Marginalized. They still are.
The anguish and pain these Americans feel must be heard. It is justified.
I don't know how to fix it...but I can support, speak out, listen, and learn.
At the march in Brookline last Friday this message was broadcast powerfully, loudly, and clearly by thousands of peaceful marchers.
Black live matters.

Yes. I don't know how to fix it either, but I can come alongside and be supportive while we figure it out. The first step is acknowledging there is a problem. There is a problem. Black lives do matter.
So important.
I hear you and I support all the efforts. We need to stand by each other and get through this together. It is absolutely ridiculous that we have regressed this far. It is time we listen respectfully and start taking necessary action. Thank you for sharing this post today, Tamar.

We all need to respect each other, be kind to each other and realize that we share the only world we will ever have so let's learn to share it harmoniously.
Beautiful and powerful!
At first I used to think that these marches should have more black people. But the problem is a white problem, not a black one. Racism is rooted in the prejudices of privileged whites.
These marches are so necessary- we can't stop working on this!! Love this post- come link it up at my weekly Friday Link up, tomorrow:) Have a great rest of the week!
So beautiful and powerful. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, they do. Thanks for sharing! Awesome post.
It was so powerful for us to join the Black Lives Matter march in our city. Thousands of people came out, despite the covid situation. My first step has been to have intentional conversations with my kids about racism and white privilege and to do some reading and to follow more diverse people on Instagram. But it is hard to know where to start.
