Boston got a casino opened a year ago (technically it's across the river in Everett, but it's all greater Boston...) and I never got the chance to check out it out pre-COVID. Not one for gambling, I was more curious having grown up around the Atlantic City casinos.
But! I heard the grounds, right along the Mystic River, were really gorgeous and worth checking out. So I took advantage of a perfect summer day, before it reopened and got busy, to take a socially distant walk around the exterior.
They really did a wonderful job, lush gardens, wide walkways up against the marina, and some fun artwork. Maybe one day, I'll get inside when I come back to visit, but for now I am glad I made it over there!

...and here many thought that casinos were going to be the solution to fiscal problems!!!
So pretty!!! (We don't gamble either, but I appreciate the beauty of the building and area around it!)
They do have nice grounds!
Those grounds really are lovely!
Thanks for hosting, enjoy the week!

I bet my aunt will be thrilled not to have to drive to CT to Foxwood.
Looks a lovely spot
The gardens do look lovely decked out in their summer colour. It is good to be able to get out for some social-distancing exploration. Take care, atay safe and enjoy the rest of your week. Thanks again for the link up.
I am not a gambler but I have been to the Encore in Vegas and these grounds are more beautiful.
I've been to a casino once in The Netherlands. I didn't love it but I would visit this one just to see the grounds. They're beautiful!
