The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 39

The Good:
We had deer grazing on campus on Friday!

The Random:
Let's play a game...protein powder or wipes...

The Fun:
The 5th graders went seining in the Long Island Sound to kick off their science unit studying it. The kids had a blast searching under rocks and in tide pools and then wading out into the water to sein!

Fun stuff, Tamar! We have deer that come walking around our neighborhood all the time and eat from the bird feeders. It cracks me up when they go trotting up the street on the sidewalk like somebody's pet! I hope you have a great week!

At first I thought the wipes WERE protein powder and then I realized... Weird.

I guess wipes. They do look just like my hubby's industrial-sized container of protein powder, though.

What a pretty view of deer on the lawn.
That does look like protein powder at first glance!
What an interesting biology lesson--lots of life at the shore

Beautiful deer! Hope you have had an easy Yom Kippur. Over and done with for another year!

Protein powder or wipes? LOL! Beautiful shot of the deer! I bet the kids enjoyed those ride pools immensely. I remember a trip to the tide pools (on the west coast) when I was in 4th grade.

THE DEER!!!! I am so so jealous and so excited to see the picture. Deer are my FAVORITE!! Despite moving to the rural part of the state, my deer sightings have actually decreased. Great sadness!
