The Good:
It's been 6 months since I moved in but I finally hung my mezuzot! This one is a new one a friend made and gifted me when I moved!
The Random:
I was meme-ed! One of the K teachers at work had some fun with the Bernie meme on my birthday. I couldn't stop laughing!
This was a week with little fun due to work-related stress (we made it to January without this level of craziness so win-win?). So all I have in the fun column is a bit of fresh snow midweek which made work from home views pretty cool.

Oh my gosh, Tamar, the meme is wonderful! That Bernie image really cracks me up every time I see it! And I loved reading about your mezuzot. It is beautiful! I had to go read the wikipedia page because I do love to learn things and I notice that you have yours tilted in the Ashkenazi way. While I am not at all familiar with different Jewish traditions, I always get a little pang of excitement when there is an Ashkenazi reference because according to my genetic testing through 23 and Me, my DNA is very closely related to Ashkenazi peoples from the Northern European region where my ancestors came from. I find it super fascinating that although I am not Jewish, there is a possibility that I have some ancestors who may have been.

I have laughed at so many of the Bernie memes! And created a couple myself as well. A wonderful diversion; it brought us all together, even if only temporarily.
Who knew the bernie Meme was going to bring so much joy on a global scale...seen him ibn SValbard and even eaten by a polar bear!
