Honest question: Why do you have security guards at the gate to your school? Is this an American thing? We don't have security guards at schools in Canada and parents would be freaked out to see them there.

I've never been a soup person, but lately my husband and I have enjoyed hot potato soup on these cold nights.

I have heard that spaghetti sauce makes for good reading material, lol. When we lived in Jersey we got a chance to talk to our guards, but in CT it's all business, you drop your kid off and keep moving!
What are there security guys there for? Or is it an after hours thing? We only just got lockable fences a few years ago....
