Down in Yonkers, overlooking the Hudson River you can find the Hudson River Museum. A few galleries and a planetarium it's a little Westchester gem. Sadly the planetarium is still closed because of COVID, but the current exhibitions were stunning and thought-provoking.
A really amazing piece of landscapes from the artist's road trip from coast to coast stretched along three walls. Then there were several pieces of how an artist sees the Hudson from his Riverdale home. The big, wow, exhibit was a mix of photographs and artifacts about the border and challenges migrants face. It really made you think. I want to go back when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the grounds and view!
