Museum of the City of NY

We finally made it to the Museum of the City of New York! A little gem on 104th and 5th Avenue. It's a gorgeous building, facing the park and had some really great exhibits.
One exhibit was all about music that emerged from the city, another was all about the immigrant story, another gallery had various objects that helped shape the city's story and an amazing photography anthology. Each gallery was so well done, not just with what was curated but also how it was presented.

Also - A+ gift shop. Obviously, the city's museum will have lots of pigeon memorabilia and also...what etic, it's NYC!!

Sounds like a cool museum! I like how you include people in your photos of the art.
