Scav Hunt Sunday: Spices and Elements

Shadow:
I walked into my bedroom to see this striking shadow of my dance sculpture.

Fabric:
Cute little fabric turtle that Avi bought me as a b-day gift year ago. It's still celebrating by wearing the bow.

Facial Feature:
Meet Wrinkles. We've been together for 17 years and his smile gets me every time. His scratched eyes show how loved he's been over the past 17 years.

Gold:
Au, get it? I had to use something from my AU (American University) days for this one. Oddly enough, our colors weren't gold, but red, white, and blue. Anyway, my stab at Au, I mean gold.

Spicy:
I'm not a fan of super spicy foods. I like warm spices like in Indian food, this is turmeric and curry powder that I was using to make a curry for shabbat lunch this week. It makes my apartment so heavenly!
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
I also have a new button on the right sidebar that links to all my scav hunts so far!

Wrinkles - the smile that keeps on giving. These are all cute. I especially like your composition on the 'spicy' shot.

Really loved your shadow shot. Very clever interpretation of the gold. And I can see why you've got a soft spot for Wrinkles.

I love your Shadow shot. Paired with the actual sculpture, the shadow looks like it's moving. If you can somehow get different angles on the shadow and play around a bit in Photoshop, you could create one photo with the different shadows... :)

Clever interpretation this week Tamar. That shadow shot is a really winner-one to print and frame me thinks. I'm with you on spicy stuff, but I like the way you captured it. Have a great sunday my friend.

Dear Tamar,

This is such a wonderful set of pictures. It took me awhile to get the gold one, but I turned my laptop around for my husband to see and he instantly said, "Gold: creative!"

He's so smart and so are you, smart and creative...good combination!

That shadow and its sculpture are stunning! How fun to meet you and see that you are a teacher. That's what I did for fifteen years before I had my own kids. Your students are very blessed to have you and your energy. I cannot imagine trying to count 100 quinoa grains. I bet the kids were amazed at how little room they took up. :-)
