The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 35

The Good:
Friday, for shabbat dinner, I experimented and made breaded cod using chickpea flour (ala pakoras). Serious win. I'm going to tweak to make it even more epic, than share the recipe!

The Random:
My new school has a laminator. Thank the teacher goddesses!! It has made my prep so much easier and there is something oddly therapeutic about cutting laminated materials out...

The Fun:
I was on the Cape over the weekend and got to stop at the ocean - I forgot how much I love being along the ocean!

I hear you on the laminator. :) We got one here and it's really great to have it on hand whenever. I love how useful it is for the kids' art projects, photos, and also for stuff to do with school.

I have a friend who was OBSESSED with laminators...I don't know if she still is or not. But she would get more joy out of that than anything! As for me, I love a laminator, but GIVE ME THE BEACH!!!!

Laminaters are the best! Thanks for hosting!

Having access to a laminating machine can be quite addictive - I remember when one of the law offices I worked at had one and do believe just about everything that could be laminated was laminated. Who ever invented this scientific wonder deserves a chair up front of the class of inventors.

As for the beach - "if you're lucky enough to be at the beach, you are lucky enough!".

PS - can't get the link-up to work. :(

PSx2 - never mind - it is working now (must be on my end --- crazy internet!)

Have a great Monday Tamar.

Can't wait for the Cod recipe! We were such home-bodies this weekend...all inside laziness and no outside adventures. Here's to lots of beautiful fall weekends!!

I'm not much of a Fish eater (though I should be) but this does look tasty. I'll look forward to the recipe.
How neat you are enjoying your new school and getting ready for classes.
Oh the day at the beach sounds heavenly.

The Cod looks delish......what else do you do with chickpea flour? I'll need to do some research. I love chick peas. I buy a wonderful chick pea salad and it's low calorie too.

The Cape looks like an amazing place to wrap up your summer.

I love the laminator, too...or I once did! I love that scissor glide across the film. It is therapeutic. Hope you are getting all geared and ready. Oh and I had to chuckle this weekend when while walking through Target my 13 year old said, "Don't forget to wish Tamar a Happy New Year this week!" She must be keeping up with you through LTT! LOL!

Mmmm, can't wait to see the recipe! I'm not a teacher but I still love laminators. :) Love your shot of the ocean! Looks like a wonderful place to visit!
