Song-osity: Imagine

You may say I'm a dreamer....
But I'm not the only one...

So much anger and hate in the world right now.

Imagine a world where we accepted one another.

Imagine a world where we learned to live alongside each other.

Imagine a world where we celebrated our differences and embraced our similarities.

Imagine a world where we dreamed that this could happen.

I know I dream of a world where this is all possible. I hope it is not just a dream.

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!

Such a simple dream, a simple concept but greed, self-righteousness and intolerance always seems to find it's way into things. But as long as a society we continue to dream the dream, there is hope.

Adorable selfie.

So true, my friend. So true.

I love this Tamar. That is what I love about our friendship - we have so many differences. But we learn from each other & support each other - instead of letting those differences be a divider. We focus on the things we have in common & let the rest go. I wish more could do that.

It's seems simple enough doesn't it - but it sure is a billion dollar question.

I listened to an interesting interview of a study that basically said the more we are with like minded people the more we move to the extreme of one side. And I know we are naturally attracted to those who think like us, but we have so much more to gain by being with those who are different from us.

Great post, and thoughts!

It seems so unattainable, doesn't it? I guess it starts with individuals and ripples through the world.

Maybe if more people dream of that and take action, someday it might come true.

What a wonderful thought. Sadly, I had someone leave a comment on my FB page where my "Imagine" post is, and someone left a comment saying they had to unlike my page becasue that looked like an anti-Christian comment. Sigh...

Such a fitting sentiment to what is going on in the world these days. Given how long ago John Lennon recorded this song, Unfortunately t goes to show the more things change...the more they stay the same. But we gotta keep imagining and dreaming. Great selfie too! Thanks for joining in at Song-ography.
