Brooklyn Bridge

Like to plant my feet on the Brooklyn Bridge...
The good old Brooklyn Bridge...

{The Brooklyn Bridge -- Frank Sinatra}

On Thanksgiving, mom and I went into Lower Manhattan to explore. I realized I had never been to the Brooklyn Bridge so we made our way to the span.

It's such an impressive bridge! I just loved all the lines the cables created - a photographer's paradise.

I loved the old up against the new of the shiny buildings in the city. Such a great contrast.

Got to love NYC!

I love the Brooklyn Bridge too and took lots of photos when we visited. It is great for photos and fun to walk over. It was so crowded when we were there though!

Would be fun to visit some day, but enjoyed your posting so I could see it through your photography. I'd probably have weak knees walking across if can see below very well. haha

Wow, that's impressive at that perspective. We actually have a vintage drawing of it in our living room.

So neat! I've been by it; I've seen the small version in Las Vegas but I have never been ON the Brooklyn bridge.

That is a nice juxtaposition, Tamar. I've never quite seen the bridge shot like that, good job.

Bridges intrigue me {love the architecture} and terrify me {there's always the what-if!!!}, so I will enjoy the chance to look at the part I love without any of the fear. What a magnificent bridge! I've never seen it personally but your pictures are incredible!
