Spring...is that you?

We went over to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens over the weekend. Rumor had it there were some cherry blossoms in bloom and we were curious what else was in bloom as the calendar turned to April.

There was far more in bloom than I thought! I just love the early hints of color. The first blossoms, still surrounded by mostly browns, it makes the long winter melt away and the promise of a colorful spring and summer lay ahead!
