Song-osity: Jump!

Might as well jump. Jump! Might as well jump.
Go ahead, jump. Jump! Go ahead, jump.

On Sunday, I finally got a chance to see the Globetrotters play! They were in Boston and a friend and I went downtown to see them play. I had actually never been to the TD Garden so that was fun to be in the arena finally.

The game was a hoot and a half. The antics are totally the show, the jumps ridiculous, and the enthusiasm contagious.

The Globetrotters were playing the Washington Generals, for the first time in years. The Generals are famous for beating the Globetrotters in 1971, and their current coach was on that team. The Generals gave them a run for their money and lost by 2 points in the last seconds of the game.

All in all, a very fun afternoon out!

You have not lived until you see the Globetrotters live and in person - so now you can say that you have. I remember seeing them as a young girl, I can still remember laughing so hard all the while being equally amazed by their talent. They were in the Rose Parade in 2014 when my sister and I went and still - very entertaining just walking down the street.

How fun! As a child of the 70s, I remeber when the GT's were huge! They were incorporated into all of popular culture. Never had a chance to see them in person, but their moves are so awesome!

Very cool. I have not seen them play in 30 years. Glad that they are still around and happy they are still entertaining. Very nice.

The first thing I though when I saw your pictures.... you got to see Big Easy from The Amazing Race! :) I've never seen the Harlam Globetrotters perform, but I would love too at some point. Especially it if means also seeing a reality tv star!
