Makes me Happy:
 It's watermelon season, need I say more.

Horizon:
I love spring and summer evenings in my kitchen as the sun sets behind the now green trees.

Favorite Place:
Home. Sure, I love being out and about, but nearly 5 years in this little apartment and it is really home.

Bubbles:
Having some fun while doing the dishes.

Yellow:
Cooked up some spaghetti squash this week.

I'm with you on the watermelon, and I often make spaghetti with spaghetti squash.

Yeah, I am not the only watermelon worshiper - nothing says summer quite like watermelon. We just got off the phone with Allyson where she enlightened me to the possibility that she may be faced with having to find residence, appliances and furniture when she arrives in Tokyo. I am secretly wishing she were staying Stateside where all of that is involved in making a place "home" is more manageable - but it is hard when she is so excited.

I love the shot of your little apartment!! So cute!! And I adore watermelon. It's one of the very few things Ryan doesn't like, so I don't get one very often {because I usually can't eat a whole one before it goes bad!}
