The Good. The Random. The Fun: v. 34

The Good:
My Fitbit Charge bit the dust, big time. So I upgraded to the Alta. So far I love it more than the Charge!

The Random:
We're in a serious drought right now. The poor trees are turning brown and dropping their leaves now. In August. Fall won't be super pretty I fear...

The Fun:
Emily invited Dani, Brooke, and me to her family's Cape house for the weekend. Tons of time vegging out by the pool, magazine reading, and game playing. One last hurrah of summer!

You've certainly spent lots of beautiful days around the water this month! Hope y'all get some rain this week.

The Cape looks beautiful! We have a Cape Province which is also beautiful... All these extreme weather conditions are so worrying.

I just bought a fitbit. I got the charge HR and I love it! I wish it was a little bit skinnier. I thought about getting one with GPS but couldn't justify the cost. Next time I will...but that will not be for a while. I woke last night to rain...it sounded very nice.

Texas has had so much rain we are now out of the drought that has plagued us for some time. Not sure why it can't just rain normally, but has to come down in buckets! Then there is some flooding in some areas because the rain has no where to go.

Oh how nice. I love the Cape. It's been dry here too..just got a lot of rain yesterday though I don't know if it will be enough to keep fall pretty. I'm still looking forward to it and loving the drop in temps and humidity today!
