The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 40

The Good:
I have been looking to replace this storage piece in my kitchen for a while. The rubbermade was from the college days and just not sophisticated anymore (been here 6 years now!). I was limited in what I could get bc of the space and finally found the right piece at IKEA! So happy with it!!

The Random:
It got chilly this week, so the sandals were put away and flats taken out. My feet weren't too happy and I began to get some blisters one day...with a half-marathon now less than a week away, I wasn't messing around and may have taken my shoes off in the room...

The Fun:
We began our election unit this week. The kids will be campaign managers for a book character. Well....this happened when we generated possible candidates...
So much winning in my 3rd graders knowing Harry Potter isn't a natural born citizen and them wanting to defeat the Dark Lord...

Ikea to the rescue! We love Ikea.

I'm sure you will get little nuggets worth sharing from that election exercise. So fun!

Oh my take care of your feet. I have put the sandals away as well. At the moment I am wondering if the ground is too wet for flats. I think I like your election choices better than ours.

The Good: Oh yes, we need to be sophisticated.
The Random: Take care of your feet and they will take you places.
The Fun: There isn't anything funny about this election.

Ikea is a great resource! Your new shelves look fabulous. I'm sure they'd have many items you could also use in your classroom.

Ouch, your feet look painful! Why do dress shoes have to hurt so much? I have the same problem.

I wore shoes yesterday that were fairly new, and I was on my feet way too long. My toes still hurt.

Oh, I'm a bit rusty at remembering certain things but it's like riding a bike, ya know. Your three points are well taken. I SURE LOVE ME SOME IKEA. I just may go there today! THANKYOU for being there for me and my 'home with shoes'.

Ouch! Your poor feet. Mine don't like changes in footwear either. You guys always have so much fun in your class which is great! Love the new IKEA piece.

Oh dear, your poor feet. That's how mine respond to shoes as well, so I feel for you. I have never been in IKEA; though I have seen that they have some lovely things. Maybe one day!

Oh no you poor feet, I hope they recover quickly before your half marathon. I find out next week if I got in next years London Marathon, eek!!
