MFA Contemporary Wing

Hot and muggy days call for a trip to the MFA! I met up with Shifra and her little guy and we had a nice time wondering the galleries. I love all art, but was really drawn to the works on display in the contemporary wing at the moment.
Ok, granted I could easily have painted the black pieces...but there is something so calm and simple about these!

I always gravitate towards those when buying art & then K reminds me that I should just do it myself. (which I most often do) What a fun day out!

I don't take nearly enough advantage of the lovely museum that is only 30 minutes away from me. Thanks for this tiny push.

Love spending time at the MFA. Thanks for the pics. Some are beautiful and some are head-scratchers! :)

Very cool, Tamar! I have not been to an art museum in years. There is something very calming about it even the pieces we may not quite understand.

So fun! It's a bit of rest for the eyes sometimes in the contemporary wing!
