The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 11

The Good:
Another book down! This one was a fascinating tale of the CIA's attempts to get Doctor Zhiavagho behind the Iron Curtain.

The Random:
A kiddo handed me their ipad the other day "Ms. Benjamin...something weird happened" -- I forgot about the funny Photobooth filters.

The Fun:
Fun in the time of Corona...? Last week, after school I was wiping down my desk and ended up cleaning the purell bottle too...we all got a good laugh out of it!
That being said...I won't be teaching in person until at least late April. I am in the process of making video lessons and activities for my kiddos to do remotely...welcome to 2020...

I've been known to sanitize a hand sanitizer myself. Stay well and I'm sure the lessons will be great for the kids!

Sanitizing the hand sanitizer is not a bad thing. It probably has the most germs on it! Our schools have closed until April 20 with no idea how we are to approach the learning process for our children during the next 5 weeks. I guess our teachers are going into work today to figure that all out. Enjoy the 2020 version of teaching, my friend! And stay safe and healthy.

So sad, but completely understandable, to see all the schools closing.

I LOVE that you sanitized the sanitizer :) Way to go!!!

As of right now our schools are only closed until April 6th. We'll see how that pans out. I'm hoping that will be enough to contain everything but I probably shouldn't count on it.

What do you think as a teacher about how the kids will advance this year? I think my older kids are going to do actual online classes, but Simon will have assignments that are not going to take more than 1-2 hours a day. It's not quite the same as being in actual school....

My daughter has been preparing lesson plans for her students as well. I'm not sure when they'll go back in session. Strange times!

We have to set up Google Classrooms and start having students doing assignments via that way for now. Hope you this over soon. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful Monday.

On-line instruction is all the rage now. I hope it does not become the norm. Stay safe and enjoy more books!
