The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 20

The Good:
We had a great mother's day zoom with Avi, the boys, and our cousins!

The Random:
Clearly, Panera has one sign....so one of the city locations took matters into its own hands to ensure no one tried to pick up via drive-through!

The Fun:
Dining room science anyone? We're learning about seeds in 2nd grade so we had to try to germinate some seeds!

Is it your mum on the top right? You look a lot alike. Your brother on the bottom left? I germinate bean seeds every year in paper towels. It never ceases to amaze me.

...we zoomed for Mother's Day too!

Fun stuff, Tamar! I can see a lot of family resemblance in your zoom call! We have germinated seeds this way before, but we ended up killing them when we planted. Maybe we will try again!

Yay!!! for dining room science. I have been doing some with my grandsons (third grade and kindergarten) by video chat.

Thank goodness for Zoom and other video conference apps! It really helps to stay in touch with others far away.

I remember growing seedlings this way as a child-- it was so fascinating to see them sprout.

We grew seeds like that in our windows too!

I'm a bit zoomed out...to be honest. We've been doing some planting over lockdown...the tomatoes took off but the flowers have failed. Never mind...

The closest Panera to us is about an hour away and I MISS it. I can't wait until we can go to Toronto again and stop at Panera.

Looks like a great family zoom meeting and cool experiment for the kids.
