The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 2

 The Good:
I admit I fell off the reading bandwagon after my move + school starting. I started this over vacation and it was a great read. If you love libraries give it a shot.

The Random:
A fun tip jar at a local coffee shop. Made me chuckle.

The Fun:
Attended my first Zoom Bat Mitzvah for our dear friends out in Vegas!

Glad the young lady was able to mark her Bat Mitzvah in some way!

Ha, that change jar is fabulous! I would totally put my money in there! I was reading like crazy and fell off in the past week or two in the middle of a book! I need to get back to it as well. Have a great week, my friend!

I love the tip jar!!! One of the amazing things about Covid (yes, I said it) is that we were able to attend Dave's cousin's daughter's baby naming service. I'm not sure we would have been able to make the trip to New York just for that, but we got to participate through Zoom which was so lovely.

That is a funny jar. I’m not afraid of change but I think I’d leave some in there. It’s sad that children have been missing so much because of COVID. I’ve been fairly optimistic throughout all of pandemic and zoom-everything but this week it’s been getting to me.

As an avid library lover, I absolutely loved The Library Book. So interesting to hear behind-the-scenes details and I wasn't even aware of that library fire years ago. I finished reading this one right before our library closed due to Covid last spring. I'm glad my library is up and operating again albeit with less hours.

I love the change jar! That's great the Bat Mitzvah could go on and you could be a part of it from a distance!

It's hard to picture a zoom bar mitzvah. I like the change jar.

A Zoom Bat Mizvah! I keep thinking how much harder the pandemic would be without virtual communication options.

That reminds me to start new book. I have one but always forget. So glad you could at least attend the Bat Mitzvah virtually. Hopefully we can do more in person things this new year.
