The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 11

 The Good:
Another book read. This was a great historical account about the fascinating woman Anne Lister and her life in the UK in the 1830s when it wasn't easy to be gay or non-feminine.

Random:
Those are some funky-looking pineapples.

The Fun:
The 3rd graders are learning all about Antarctica and I remembered I have a friend who has spent tons of time there researching. He zoomed with them and it was such a fun "guest" apprearance!

Tamar, that book looks really fascinating! And I love a good red round pineapple, doesn't everyone?! Haha. And how fun that your friend could zoom with your class. That is a crazy cool job to have...exploring in Antarctica!

Thanks for the book recommendation. Whenever I think my own life is hard, I just need to look around. Your Zoom guest looks like a fun one! I'm sure the kids really enjoyed him.

Zoom guests are fun! Now I just remembered my brother in law spoke to Zachary's class at some point a while ago and it was hard to figure out how he would connect!

I'm going to check out that book. And how fun that your friend could "visit" your kids.

What a great thing to do for your class - my husband is currently doing that for a friend who teaches in Japan. He's zooming into their maths class to talk about the maths involved with building cities...

That is so cool that your friend would zoom in.

That would be a great zoom guest! Sadly mislabeled items in store are a common thing these days which is so frustrating when you need a price on the real deal.
