A little known secret, MOMA is open late on Saturday evenings. We made use of these extended hours a few weeks ago and explored the museum after dark. It was the final weeks of the Automania exhibit and they continue to raid their vaults and rotate what is on display in the galleries.
They had a new exhibit centered around the work of Sophie Taeuber-Arp. She was one of the most influential modern artists and the galleries showcased her work as well as the artists she taught and influenced - all of those pieces were stunning!

That is so very cool. What a wonderful place.
You mostly had the whole place to yourself. I didn't know they have cars too. Beautiful artwork by Sophie Taeuber-Arp.
