Waving Hello

The Garment District has another awesome art installation. 14 colorful, oversized sculptures waving hello are stationed between 38th and 41st streets. They are the works of Santi Flores and are meant to symbolize unity, diversity, and individuality.
They were each so unique and fun. I love whimsical exhibits and pieces like this and there was such joy in these pieces, a perfect welcome back to a reawakening midtown and warmer weather and tourist season.

Those are fun! I need an arm that long when I'm in a crowd and trying to get someone's attention!
