The MET

We took Noam to the MET on his first full day in NY. We had a nice time exploring the galleries and saw some areas we had never seen before while allowing a 12-year-old to navigate around. It was absolutely stunning outside so many of the galleries were filled with amazing natural sunlight, too.
It was a slight bummer because we missed a few big exhibits that just left a few weeks ago and the famed Egyptian temple was closed as they prepped for a gala that evening, but we still made due and saw tons of art! Afterward, we took Noam around the museum into Central Park to see the Obelisk statue - truly giving him the complete experience!

Such a beautiful museum. I loved it there. I have a special request, if you take those. There is a huge Kusama exhibition coming your way - can you post lots of pics for me if you go pls? I just love her. I think also you'll have some of the pumpkins in the Botanic Gardens....(My FB is taunting me)

Oh, that light really is amazing! Maybe we'll have to tackle The Met with the kids the next time we visit.
