I finally made it to the American Dream Mall in NJ. The massive shopping and entertainment area opened in 2019 in the Meadowlands. It's a mix of super high-end and "regular" mall retail spaces, an amusement park, a water park, a ski slope, an ice rink, and more! I met up with a friend and we spent hours in the stores and wandering around the attractions.
We had a bit too much fun in some of the stores! We had a nice lunch, which was 100% kosher thanks to the kosher food court the mall boasts (I mean, how cool!), and took a ride on the Dream wheel which gave us some amazing views of the complex and the NYC skyline. The amusement park was full of camp groups so we didn't get on any rides, but there is always next time!Thursday, August 24, 2023

it seems to be the perfect place to have fun !
The roller coaster looks so fun
...and a fair amount of glitz.
Such a fun place to visit. My family enjoys the Oreo cafe.
I lived near the first mall like that, in Edmonton (canada) and watched dolphin shows, while people shopped for cars, and the roller coaster ran, and the Edmonton Oilers practiced at the inside rink... wow.
of course we had to leave every couple hours to run our car engines so the blocks didn't freeze!

Amazing mall, but I am not a mall person, so its great to see it here in stead of going there in a crowd

How cool!
Wow; that mall looks amazing.
We've driven by that many times. I need to check it out one of these days. How cool about the kosher food court!! The Dream Wheel sounds incredible!
Hi Tamar! I hope all is well with you. What a cool mall! The sculptures are really amazing! It looks like a fun place to visit and I think it's pretty neat that new shopping malls are still being built. I thought online shopping might eventually kill brick and mortar malls. I am glad it has not because I do not like online shopping! I am trying to get back to link parties now that things seem to be slowing down a bit. Stay well, my friend!
