Dinner and a Show!

For my birthday, Judah took me out to a really nice dinner and then to see SIX on Broadway! We went out for Indian food at Ustav, a swanky Indian place in the theater district. I hadn't been there in years and the food and vibe were just as amazing as I remember. The company didn't disappoint either (:
After  dinner we stopped for some ice cream before walking over to the theater, because yes, even when it's about 38ยบ outside, you eat ice cream in NY! We got to the theater with time to spare and settled in to our amazing seats (Judah did well!). There was fun fan art in the hallway leading to the actual theater which was a nice touch, too.
The show was AMAZING. I have listened to the soundtrack a ton, but it is always best to see it with your own eyes. The Queens we saw are new to the show, about a month and a half ago, and they were beyond amazing! They play off the audience and each other so much through the night and the whole concept of empowering these women is just pretty awesome.

It was a truly magical way to celebrate 36. We are already picking out our next date night show too!
