We spent some nice time at the beach while we were down in Florida! We laid out a whole afternoon one day and walked Miami Beach another. It was pretty windy and the surf was choppy, but the sun was warm and the water was so nice and clear it made for some great views and marvelous relaxation!
Miami Beach is so fun because each lifeguard stand has a fun color/design fitting in with the art deco style of South Beach. Deerfield Beach has the huge pier which makes for some stunning views as it juts out into the water.
Even though we couldn't dip into the water, just being on the beach was just what our wintry weary hearts (and skin!) needed to tide us over until true warmer weather heads north!
