A massive 3D heart from the artists at the Pernilla Ohrstedt Studio is currently in Times Square with a fantastic Valentine's Day connection. The cube, called “Love Ever After”, is made from metal oyster reef cages, and the shapes and colors of the heart inside change depending on your position.
The structure is made from metal mesh from oyster reef cages and another reef cage filled with oyster shells is near the giant art piece as a nod towards the Billion Oyster Project’s future mission of rehabilitating the New York Harbor with one million oysters by 2035. After the exhibition is over, the cages will be placed along NYC shores for the project’s oyster restoration efforts, which is cool, too!Thursday, February 13, 2025

That is really neat!
...quite a project.
That is certainly interesting!
Your photos capture so much beauty!
The variety of art in New York is definitely inspiring!
I love street art and that is definitely cool but I'm not going to Times Square for it ;) There's great stuff in the Chelsea galleries right now, and the Nick Cave at the new Jack Shainman in Tribeca is most defintitely worth the trip!
Looks amazing, Loved the installation,
Great street clicks.
That is so cool and I love the oyster restoration project!
