I heard about a fun gallery in Soho that is a must see and headed downtown to check it out! Ashley Longshore is a NYC based artist known for her big, colorful, over-the-top pieces that mix pop culture, humor, and a little bit (okay, a lot) of attitude. It's like Any Warhol meets high fashion with a lot of sass and a side of glitter.
The gallery is a neon-splashed, pop-art fever dream where subtlety does not exist. It is packed with her signature style—portraits of iconic women dripping in luxury, playful (and sometimes cheeky) texts, and enough sparkle to make a magpie jealous.
Some highlights for me:
✨ A massive painting of Ruth Bader Ginsburg decked out in jewels like the queen she was.
✨ Paintings of the queen, with a hearty side of sass.
✨ A giant orchid arm chair because, why not?
✨ The rainbow stairs. Think Judah will mind if I redo our staircase...?
The space is more like an experience than a gallery. It is bright, in-your-face, and very “take a selfie and make it your personality for a week.” The kind of place that makes you want to buy something impractical (not that I could afford any of these pieces, ever). Although, I really feel like I need a bejeweled RBG painting for my living room.

Truly Amazing art works, Awesome clicks.
Yes, very colorful, but I think that art or an art experience such as this one is the perfect place to stroll, observe and let your thoughts out to play!
