We explored the famed Ocean Drive in South Beach while we were down in Florida. It is one of the most famous streets in Miami and is known for it's amazing art deco buildings. Today it is a hub of night life with the old hotels home to restaurants and clubs. Each building was more amazing than the last and it was fun to stroll!
Many of the hotels have classic cars parked out front, adding to the whole vibe. We also saw many insane luxury cars drive by as the afternoon turned to evening and the clubs came to life. I kept thinking of "The Birdcage" one of my favorite movies set in the neighborhood and wanted to find a bakery to quote the famous line "when the shnecken beckons!" Tuesday, March 4, 2025
